Inter-CDT Conference 2026

About Us

The Inter-CDT conference is open to all PhD students from participating centers for doctoral training (CDTs). It is a friendly, three-day conference that is free to attend and in 2026 will be the 7^th such successive conference of its kind.

This yearly PhD-exclusive event focuses on providing PhD students from participating CDTs the opportunity to present their research in ways which may not be possible at larger conferences. Attending students hail from a diverse range of departments focusing on sustainability and enterprise in the areas of materials and formulation science, allowing for students to discuss ideas and develop interdisciplinary knowledge and connections.

Details of the Next Conference

The Inter-CDT conference 2026 will be held at the University of Edinburgh, 40 George Square in LG.09 and LG.11 from 3^rd to 5^th June between 9am and 5pm. There will be a conference dinner held at Bistro du Vin, 11 Bristo place on Thursday 4^th June after the conference proceedings for the day.
